My wife and I have been visiting and purchasing from Dave's since the first year they opened.
As recently as tonight, whilst sitting in our hot tub, discussing the arrival of friends from Stockton, we ran into a disagreement as to who provides the best crab in Santa Cruz.
We brought forward the following candidates: The Shopper's Market, New Leaf, Ben Lomand Market, Scotts Valley Market and Dave's.
After extensive exchange, I believe we came to common resolution. The first four candidates compete for best of local, whilst Dave's brings forward best of CA, OR, WA, AK.
I need to know if this is accurate, because, as husband, I've shopped all and spoken to all and bring this perspective.
I will accept any correction, but just know that I love dungeness crab and I've had the best at Dave's.
